Lately, it seems like nothing good is coming out of the government in Maryland (according to those I talk to who live there.) Well, here is something to be proud of. It seems that a man tried to get out of the proper divorce proceedings by initiating a talaq. This ritual, where a man simply says "I divorce thee" three times, seems to be enough to count in certain Muslim regions. Thankfully, Maryland is not one of them. I can't wait for the oncoming cries of "lousy activist judges."The Rational Moderate
